چکیده
A potential motion of ideal incompressible fluid with a free surface and infinite depth is considered in two-dimensional geometry. time-dependent conformal mapping the lower complex half-plane auxiliary variable $w$ into area filled performed real line mapped fluid's surface. The dynamics can be fully characterized by singularities analytical continuation both velocity. We consider short branch cut approximation small parameter being ratio length to distance between its center $w$. found that reduced Hopf equation for velocity coupled transport mapping. These equations are integrable characteristics producing family solutions, including pairs moving square root points. solutions compared simulations nonlinear Eulerian giving excellent agreement even when approaches about one.

Incompressible smoothed particle hydrodynamics simulations on free surface flows
The water wave generation by wave paddle and a freely falling rigid body are examined by using an Incompressible Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (ISPH). In the current ISPH method, the pressure was evaluated by solving pressure Poisson equation using a semi-implicit algorithm based on the projection scheme and the source term of pressure Poisson equation contains both of divergence free ve...
متن کاملA Branch-and-Cut Approach for the Vehicle Routing Problem with Two-dimensional Loading Constraints
In this paper, we present a branch-and-cut algorithm for the Vehicle Routing Problem with Two-dimensional Loading Constraints (2L-CVRP). The 2L-CVRP is a combination of the Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) and the Two-dimensional Bin Packing Problem. We propose a strategy based on emphasizing cut generation using known families of valid inequalities for the CVRP. Checking packing feas...
متن کاملTHREE DIMENSIONAL MODELING OF TURBULENT FLOW WITH FREE SURFACE IN MOLD FILLING
In the present study a Finite Difference Method has been developed to model the transient incompressible turbulent free surface fluid flow. A single fluid has been selected for modeling of mold filling and The SOLA VOF 3D technique was modified to increase the accuracy of simulation of filling phenomena for shape castings. For modeling the turbulence phenomena k-e standard model was used. In or...
متن کاملDivorticity and Dihelicity in Two-dimensional Hydrodynamics
The theory of two-dimensional (2D) fully developed turbulence (FDT) (Kraichnan [1], Batchelor [2]), until recently, remained almost an academic exercise, not withstanding its possible connections with large-scale flows in thin fluid shells such as atmospheres and oceans. 2D FDT has now been produced to a close approximation in a variety of laboratory experiments (Couder [3], Kellay et al. [4], ...
متن کاملIs free-surface hydrodynamics an integrable system?
A strong argument is found in support of the integrability of free-surface hydrodynamics in the one-dimensional case. It is shown that the first term in the perturbation series in powers of nonlinearity is identically equal to zero, the consequences of which are discussed as well. 1. It is well known that the equations describing an ideal fluid with a free surface in a gravity field are complet...
